Since I joined Hitachi Kokusai Ltd in 1981 and became president of Hitachi Kokusai Electric America in 2009, I’ve seen considerable change not only within this company but also within the markets it serves. With over 24 years of overseas sales experience in the Video industry including 3 years working for Hitachi Denshi UK, I will lead Hitachi Kokusai Electric America with greater emphasis on expanding our market base in all product lines and geographical territory.
In order to stay at the cutting edge and beyond, Hitachi is entering new markets as well as concentrated its efforts in its traditional markets, including broadcast and industrial video. Our digital technology is renown throughout the world, and we are intent on developing new product lines that incorporate our digital expertise and taking those new products into new territories. Our core customers have access to emerging technologies, and we are continually developing new products based on those technologies.
With the convergence of IT and broadcast technologies, Hitachi is positioning itself to be an active player within the media and signal generation and processing market, entering these business sectors through our own product development and through alliances with computer, engineering, and systems design companies.
We are committed to providing our customers with unprecedented service and engineering support. Hitachi offers personal attention to our customers through our Americas sales network.
